Today in Japan, Studio Trigger announced the development of a new anime TV series based on Little Witch Academia.

Back in 2013, as part of the Anime Mirai film festival, Studio Trigger released Little Witch Academia—a wonderfully animated and truly magical (pun intended) 30 minute anime about three prospective witches at a magic academy and their first adventure into the school’s dungeon.
In 2015, it was followed by the hour-long Kickstarter-funded sequel Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade and followed the girls once again as they–along with some new friends–planned and prepared the neighboring city’s witch parade.
As the project has just been announced there is currently no information on the story or when it will broadcast but we’ll keep you updated when new information is released.
