A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized is the story of a cowardly dragon who has spent his entire life hiding out in the wilderness, bothering nobody. But little did he know that as the years went on and his size grew, legends spread about the fearsome Evil Dragon rumored to be even more powerful than the Demon Lord himself. Well, until the day a young girl name Reiko is sent by the local village as a human sacrifice, that is.
Despite what people think, the Dragon is in no way strong nor does he eat meet—the thought of killing a little girl is shocking to him. Yet, Reiko is as adamant that he eats her as he is that he doesn’t want to. Exasperated, he plays on the legend built around him to tell a white lie so he can send the girl home—that he has eaten her soul and so she is free to go. And this is where things go totally off the rails.
Reiko believes unquestionably in the legends of the great Evil Dragon—no matter how exaggerated they may be. So, when she hears that he has eaten her soul, her child’s imagination runs wild and she sees herself as the evil dragon’s minion. She is 100% committed to the role and is convinced that she now has a measure of his limitless power.
The trick is that her belief is so strong that, combined with her innate magical power, it is enough to make her evil dragon powers real. So, our cowardly dragon finds himself saddled with an ultra-powerful little girl who thinks she is an avatar of the evilest being in existence—an not even he can convince her otherwise. It’s exactly as hilarious as it sounds. Be sure to give it a watch.
