10 Rocking Anime Songs From Winter 2019

This winter’s 43 new TV anime bring with them double that amount in theme songs. And then there are all the films, ONAs, and continuing series with new music as well. Out of all of that, here are the 10 songs I’ve been listening to on repeat.

*Note: Songs are presented in alphabetical order by series.

Anime: Ace Attorney Season 2

Song: “Reason”

Artist: Tomohisa Yamashita

Why I Love It: This song feels like three in one: The verse is a mellow rock-ish ballad, the pre-chorus is syncopated hip-hop one step away from rap, and the chorus proper wouldn’t be out of place at a dance club.
