While many anime have been postponed this season, that doesn’t mean we’re lacking in awesome anime music. From openings and endings to movie themes and insert songs, here are the songs I’ve been enjoying this season.

Anime: 7 Seeds (Season 2)
Song: “From the Seeds”
Artist: Mone Kamishiraishi
Why I Love It: The lead singer’s vocals are mixed with female backups in the verse and male backups in the chorus which makes for an awesome, yet subtle, contrast in the tone of the music.

Anime: Dropkick on My Devil!! Dash
Song: “Love Satisfaction”
Artist: ZAMB
Why I Love It: This song pushes ZAMB’s power and vocal range to its maximum–perhaps even past it–to the point where I wonder if it’s even possible for her to do it live.
Anime: Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These
Song: “CRY”
Artist: SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:mizuki
Why I Love It: The song perfectly sets the stage for the wonder, beauty, and drama of one of the greatest space operas of all time–especially once the backup singers join Mizuki’s emotional vocals.
